Where to begin?<\/strong><\/p>\n Undergraduate programs:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n 1 – Visit the UEPG\u2019s website and search for the course and subjects you are interested in.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n 2 – Fill out the PROMEI form, available here.<\/span><\/p>\n 3 – Send the following documents to eri@uepg.br:<\/span><\/p>\n *The transcript is a document that lists the courses taken by the student at their home university and their performance in each one.<\/span><\/p>\n Post-graduated programs:<\/b><\/p>\n If you are interested in taking graduate courses at UEPG, check out the exchange programs available.<\/span><\/p>\n If you are an independent candidate, you may contact the coordinator of the program you are interested in at UEPG to obtain information about available places and the selection process. <\/span>See the programs<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n I received my Letter of Acceptance. What now?<\/strong><\/p>\n Prepare your documentation:<\/span><\/p>\n Please note<\/b>: in addition to your vaccination card, remember to provide UEPG with information about your health status (allergies and previous surgeries) and your emergency contacts.<\/span><\/p>\n When you arrive in Ponta Grossa, please report to the International Relations Office. We can assist you with:<\/span><\/p>\n TEMPORARY VISA IV \u2013 STUDENT VISA<\/strong><\/p>\n What it is:<\/strong> Temporary Visa IV is a mandatory authorization for all foreigners who wish to study at a Brazilian university.<\/span><\/p>\n Who can get it:<\/strong> It can be granted to any foreign student who intends to come to Brazil on a temporary basis, without the intention of immigrating or engaging in paid work.<\/span><\/p>\n How it works:<\/strong> This visa authorizes the foreigner to attend a specific course at a specific educational institution.<\/span><\/p>\n Where to apply:<\/strong> at the Brazilian Consulate or Embassy in the country of origin.<\/span><\/p>\n Validity:<\/strong> It can be valid for up to one (1) year (according to the Letter of Acceptance issued by the Host University) and can be extended for the same period, several times, for the duration of the course. The extension request must be made to the Federal Police Department at least thirty (30) days before the end of the stay.<\/span><\/p>\n Required documents:<\/strong> consult the Consulate General of Brazil in your country of residence and request a complete list of documents required to obtain a Student Visa, as it may vary.<\/span><\/p>\n Important information:<\/b><\/p>\n Once the visa has been granted, foreign students have 90 days to enter Brazil and, from then on, 30 days to register with the Federal Police Department in the city where they live.<\/span><\/p>\n Student visa holders are prohibited from engaging in paid work, under penalty of a fine, notification, or expulsion.<\/span><\/p>\n Attention:<\/strong> find out about the correct type of visa!
