proporcionar o aperfei\u00e7oamento de pessoal de n\u00edvel superior e a forma\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica e tecnol\u00f3gica na \u00e1rea de Biologia Evolutiva, habilitando seus alunos ao exerc\u00edcio qualificado de fun\u00e7\u00f5es envolvendo ensino, pesquisa e extens\u00e3o, al\u00e9m de produzir e disseminar conhecimentos cient\u00edficos e tecnol\u00f3gicos, auxiliando na tomada
