Concentration area and research lines<\/b><\/p>\n
The concentration area – structured on two research lines (RL1: Journalistic production processes and RL2: Journalistic processes and social practices) – aims at considering both aspects linked to Journalism epistemology, with theoretical and conceptual foundations set on the dynamics, productive routines and aspects of mediatic production, as to the relations of Journalism with other knowledge fields, valuing the interfaces of communication with social representation. Both research lines converge to the study of the inner and outer dynamics of Journalism, providing distinct and complementary views in the observation of journalistic (communicational) phenomena.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Line 1 – Journalistic production processes<\/span><\/p>\n The line considers research about journalism\u2019s professional and epistemological specificities, investigations on contemporary journalistic phenomena, markably those situated in the production, circulation and consumption ambit, considering the elements relations and variables of editorial processes in Journalism.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Line 2 – Journalistic processes and social practices<\/span><\/p>\n Involves conceptual studies and reflections around the relations of Journalism with other practices and representations, such as culture and politics, and the respective impacts on social mediations and public discussion.
