State University of Maringá (UEM) opens subscription opportunity international mobility
The State University of Maringá (UEM) opens the subscription opportunity for social mobility.
The academic year is divided into two semesters:
1st Semester: January – May
2nd Semester: July – December
REQUIRED/RECOMMENDED LANGUAGE SKILLS
– Required level of Portuguese (for those students taking courses in Portuguese);
– Required Certificate of Portuguese;
– In general, the language of Instruction is Portuguese. Nevertheless, some courses are taught in English.
– General rule: B1 required
– As a general rule, students do not need to send their Portuguese level certificate to UEM. It is the responsibility of the home university to select their students according to UEM linguistic requirements as mentioned above.

The UEM Language Service organizes Portuguese language courses (free of charge) for students coming from partner universities. For more information, https://portal.nead.uem.br/eventos/site/index
Procedures for application:
- The Sector of International Cooperation of the origin university of the student must send an e-mail to mobilidade@uem.br informing the name of the student;
- The candidate must fill the application form.
The Office of International Cooperation of UEM will be in contact with the candidate through the e-mail address provided at the application form, guiding the application process.
