AGREEMENTS

GCUB

The PPGJor is part of the International Mobility Program of the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB), which brings together Brazilian public universities offering scholarships to foreign students interested in enrolling in postgraduate programs, such as Master’s or Doctorate degrees, in Brazil.

The main objective of the GCUB is to contribute to the high-level academic development of students from five continents, in addition to promoting university internationalization and strengthening international cooperation between Brazilian universities and institutions in other countries.

The program’s benefits include: exemption from tuition, monthly or annual fees; access to university restaurants; and financial support to cover registration fees, administrative expenses and mandatory insurance.

ZICOSUR Academic

PPGJor is part of the Network of Universities of the Integration Zone of the Central-West of South America (ZICOSUR Universitário). This is a group of Public Universities from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Peru, which works with the objective of strengthening regional academic integration and consolidating exchanges in the areas of teaching, research and extension in the regions that make up ZICOSUR. And, consequently, promote greater insertion in the international context and encourage the economic and social development of the region.

Among its specific objectives, ZICOSUR aims to:

a) Build an information platform on the postgraduate courses offered by universities in the region, as well as the academic research carried out by these higher education institutions and the agreements signed between them;
b) Analyze the information obtained in order to improve and coordinate the provision of postgraduate courses in the Region;
c) Generate postgraduate courses at a regional level in recognized areas that promote development;
d) Restore the role of universities as intermediary institutions between governments and their populations;
e) Facilitate the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students;
f) Promote teacher mobility;
g) Promote Zicosur scholarships;
h) Generate a shared identity through knowledge of different cultures;
i) Create a space for reflection on the importance of education in integration processes;
j) Promote the development of joint research projects between universities in the Region;
k) Promote the regional validation of higher education diplomas, generating the necessary legal framework for this.
