The 6th Uncelebrating Coups Cycle – No Amnesty! was held between March 31 and April 2, 2025, at the central campus of the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG).
The cycle gains relevance this year by addressing the 61st anniversary of the 1964 civil-military coup, the 41st anniversary of the Diretas Já! campaign, the 40th anniversary of the launch of the book “Brasil Nunca Mais” and the two years since the attempted coup of January 8, 2023. These dates mark important periods in Brazilian history, and the event seeks to recover historical memory, reflecting on the impacts of these moments on today’s society.
