Maternity and Children's University Hospital (HUMAI)
Obstetric and pediatric care is provided at the Maternity and Children`s University Hospital (Humai). Built in 1996 and administered by UEPG since 2021, the facility has both general and ICU beds. The pediatric emergency room receives patients coming from Emergency Medical Service, primarily in cases of trauma, drowning, and burns. Obstetric emergency cases involving low to moderate risk are treated at the Humai Maternity Ward, which is a leading center in humanizing childbirth..
Medical Ambulatory for Specialities (AME)
The Medical Ambulatory for Specialties (AME) is a center for specialty care, such as dentistry, speech-language pathology, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology. It has 19 care facilities and five examination rooms, as well as a physical therapy room, auditoriums, and classrooms, which are used by UEPG’s Public Health Research Programs and Residency Internships. The facility has the capacity to handle more than 10,000 patient visits per month, with care provided through the Unified Health System (SUS).
Amadeu Puppi University Ambulatory
The Amadeu Puppi University Ambulatory integrates the HU-UEPG complex since 2023. The facility has 16 examination rooms equipped to provide high-quality care in 28 clinical specialties for adults, mothers and children. Appointments are scheduled through the Paraná State Government’s medical referral center or following hospitalization at UEPG’s university hospitals.
